Experience

My Experience

I grew up in China, and until I was 15 years old, I received a Chinese education and experienced Chinese culture. However, after my middle school ended, I began to yearn for the outside world. I wondered what the outside world was like and what the cultures of different countries were like. I wanted to explore and learn, to experience the cultures of different countries, and to make friends from different countries. So when I was 15 years old, I went to the United States to study. I attended high school at Saint Paul Diocesan Junior Senior High School. There, I experienced the difference in education and culture and made many friends. Now I continue to stay in the U.S. to attend college and major in Communication with a minor in DCIM. While I was still in school, I traveled to many places. I am very happy that I got to see different parts of the world, and I was amazed by the scenery and culture of each place. I hope that in the future I can continue to explore more places and experience the scenery and culture of different countries.

Working Experience

I’m very good at marketing, and when I worked in a restaurant, I would often suggest strategies to my bosses about marketing their dishes. I would recommend seasonal foods to my customers and list those dishes as specials. I would also decorate the store for the holidays to attract more customers.

When I worked at KFC I took on the role of cashier, I was sensitive to numbers and could accurately process payments, returns and exchanges. I could also handle cash and credit cards used by customers for purchases.
